Happy Father’s Day Dad!
Hope you are enjoying your day relaxing at home. It is now June 19th and the month is more than halfway over. How time flies when you are on vacation.
Today we are in Newcastle England. Jamie and Q are going to Alnwick Castle and I
am staying home on the ship and attempt to drink lots of fluids and take meds
and kick this cold/cough.
It is a beautiful morning in Newcastle. We arrive around 6:30 a.m. and all ashore is
7:30 a.m.
Jamie and Q head out for their excursion and I go back to
bed and watch movies. The kids really
enjoyed exploring the Alnwick Castle.
They said many movies have been filmed there including Harry Potter, and
Jamie has always been a huge Harry Potter Fan.
Michael is getting back from his trip to Shanghai today and
he will be getting on board. So we all
meet up on deck 4 for a our own sailaway party.

Once again many of the locals have come down to give us a
goodbye on our way out of the Port of Tyne
The kids decide to play some shuffleboard as we head out of
the river back to the ocean
I think I see Wendy and her family so I try to get a close
up
Still many locals out near the lighthouse to wish us
farewell
Michael has made a table centerpiece to celebrate his
parent’s 50th wedding anniversary.
It is huge!
Michael has brought us all treats from the Disneyland
Shanghai Resort Grand Opening.

After dinner head to the show in the Walt Disney
Theater. Tonight we saw Max
Winfrey. He does a comedy routine and is
a juggler.
Decide to type the blog.
Looking forward to Kirkwall, Scotland to see what a new day brings.
